Overall, we enjoy Ranch Hand. It's a bit of a drive for us now to Newbury Park, but we enjoy their carnitas pizza, tri tip, and pulled pork when we are close. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a popular spot, but we have never had an unreasonable wait. It is family friendly, however, seating can be limited if you choose to dine in.

Yummy food, attentive staff, quick service and cute decor! We had a half tri tip and half pulled pork sandwich, so good and the bbq sauce is delicious! Mac and cheese is good, just needed a little salt/pepper. Orion rings are gigantic!

People have varying opinions about what constitutes "good" barbecue, depending on where you're from. Overall, it's very good for the area, and far better than Wood Ranch, which I feel is overrated and overpriced, however alluring the smell may be. I've have Ranch Hand on several occasions, the first when my job ordered catering. I was very surprised how tender the trip tip was. I then had it a few more times and even ordered food for take away. First, the trip tip is flavourful and extremely tender. Not over salted. You can choose between barbecue sauces, their spicy sauce has a hint of zing but not very spicy. Their mild sauce is just the right amount of smokiness and sweetness. I hate when sauce is too sweet and also when things are drenched in sauce so much that you can barely taste the meat. I love putting the trip on the soft garlic dinner rolls, great little sandwich. Their brisket was also excellent, not tough at all. The coleslaw is good, about what you'd expect from a typical cole slaw, but it's not dripping in sauce, or soggy. Sweet potato fries are also very good and the portions are reasonable. I've also had their salad with brisket- great price and good portion size. Great for lunch and when you're trying to be 'good', but also want something tasty and not having to spend $20 on lunch. I've only ordered and been in person once, but the service is decent, and my order was ready very quickly. I will be ordering from here again. I Next time, I plan on trying their chicken and ribs.

Outstanding BBQ! The ribs, the brisket, and what may be the best hot links that are not too hot, all make this tiny place a family favorite. Service is good. The people are friendly and the location is clean enough. I will have to admit the pulled pork was not a favorite, but to each their own.

I go here often because it is close. But I don't care for the cole slaw and last time I went in I got beef ribs instead of baby back-and the were stone cold even though it was only a 5 minute drive home. I typically prefer this over the other BBQ chains that are local but m not always pleased w the results. Most of the time but not every time. Additionally, I went near closing time recently and apparently everything was cleaned up and put away. When they took my order the cashier and the Cook glared at each other and subsequently yelled and screamed about it. Needless to say, although they're conveniently close-I won't be going back.

Wow, I had such a great first experience here! Super welcoming worker right when we entered the restaurant who offered us help right away for any questions or suggestions. The place felt homey & had nice vintage photos up as well. My eyes were set on trying the Pork Ribs & I'm really glad I did! Flavorful & even better with their Bbq sauces. I'm a sucker for variety & appreciated I could try them all varying spices because each table had condiments. I enjoyed switching from the Lightly Spicy to Hot Bbq & vice versa. The sweet potatoes fries were perfectly cooked to a nice crisp. A worker offered me their ranch with it & omg it was a life changer! The flavors meshed really well together, sweetness from the fries, yet tanginess of the ranch, yum! Garlic rolls were delightful & mac salad kept things refreshing. This was really filling and portions are just. Amazing food and spectacular service, keep it up!

The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The portion sizes were great for the price! The food was so good! The cornbread was my favorite side and the chicken sandwich was great.

This place is so yummy! Prices aren't bad and has good quick service, food comes out quick and meals are hearty, everything our family got was delicious, The restaurant is about small/medium sized, with smaller tables, we sat along the counter, they have all their different sauces out for you to use as needed and for someone who loves spicy like me their extra hot bbq sauce hit the spot! It's a chill setting and everyone was nice
